Neckpieces
One of my favourite things to do is to create a full necklace. They take a lot of planning and time to execute but oh boy are they fun! Sometimes I have a theme, like a garden landscape or a mythical being like the phoenix – other times I have a beautiful focal stone that just needs to be shown off. Every neckpiece I create is totally original, totally one-of-a-kind – if you buy one of my neckpieces, you can be assured you have the only one!
I would like to purchase the Lady on the Lake.
What is the price?
Anne
Do you sell your necklace patterns – I have been looking for something to make for my granddaughters that they can wear as they grow older and your Celtic Garden and Amethyst are exactly what I have been looking for. I do wirewrapping for the family only and do not sell anything. Being retired has a disadvantage when you have hobbies like mine (painting, stained glass, jewellery, woodburning etc)…with 10 grandchildren aging from 2-22 they keep me busy with all their requests…and the girls love getting into my jewellery ofcourse. Thanks so much for your time and sharing your lovely work.

Hi Anne,
That piece is sold, sorry!
Gayle
Hi Carolynne,
I have a few patterns at http://www.craftsy.com/user/781745/pattern-store but nothing like those two. But they do give a great basis and with some practice you can come up with your own!
Gayle
Thank you so much for sharing how to wire wrap and these exquisite designs. You inspire me and many others I’m sure. I love how you wrap each stone or beach glass piece in a much more intimate and special presentation of it than a more formal and polished form of stone wiring–which has its own beauty.

Hello Gayle,
My husband and I have just completed a trip around Cape Breton and I purchased one of your necklaces which was done with copper wire and watch pieces. I love it.
I would like to purchase another necklace similar to the celtic garden one you did. will you be doing another one with similar colours?
Thank you
Margaret
Hi Margaret,
I tried making another one and it ended up like this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=615625295130422&set=pb.110600068966283.-2207520000.1378126859.&type=3&theater
It’s still available – call http://www.capebretoncraft.com, they have it in their shop and would probably sell it over the phone and ship!

Hey Gayle,
It’s kelly and James. I absolutely love the Celtic garden necklace there. If I could ask do you take orders, like if I was looking for something similar to that with a Celtic knot look as well as a ring how much would you charge for both pieces. I want something one of a kind. I absolutely the one I the Facebook link you listed there. Love that design. Could you let me know if you do this?
Sincerely,
Kelly Gracie and James Campbell.
What kind of wire is used in these pieces? Is it real silver wire or coated beading wire? Thank you.
It’s real silver plated over a copper core, then coated with poly-nylon to avoid tarnishing. It’s excellent.
